The 62,000 sq. ft. YMCA of the Blue Water Area is part of an exciting new urban riverfront development in Port Huron, taking advantage of the dramatic riverfront views and capturing the inherent excitement of the busy St. Clair River.
Housed within the facility are:
- An over sized gymnasium
- Weight/fitness area with views into the pool area and across the river
- A group fitness studio
- Multi-purpose rooms
- Child Watch and Kid Zone, drop-in baby sitting services
- Dedicated locker rooms for men, women, boys, girls and families/special needs
The Y also houses the Infant, Toddler and Warm World Child Development programs, complete with outdoor playgrounds.
The pool complex embodies the community’s needs and objectives by combining leisure areas and fitness/competitive swimming program spaces. The family-friendly pool has something for everyone to enjoy:
- 3,600 sq. ft. 25-yard multi-purpose Competition Pool with six lap lanes

- 3,200 sq. ft. Recreation Pool

- Children’s play feature with tumble buckets and spray features
- Lazy River current channel
- Lift entry for both pools and ramp entry into the Recreation Pool
- Benched seating area in the recreation pool
